Q: How can I see the scan path I took?
A: After launching a capture in the Teleport Desktop Application, press the 'F1' key to reveal the scan path. The frame count is sequentially oriented to the colors of the rainbow; therefore, red is where the first frames were taken and violet is where the last frames where taken. The prism shape points in the direction & orientation that the phone was in when capturing each frame.

 

Q: How can I view my capture in VR?
A: VR provides a fully immersive experience of your capture. Teleport will automatically launch in VR mode if a compatible headset is connected. The Teleport Desktop App will start in desktop mode if no headset is detected. Head to 'Using the Teleport Desktop App' for more details on how to view with different headsets.

 

Q: I’ve plugged in my headset but still not working in VR mode.
A: Press the 'F5' key to refresh the headset plugin being used. If that doesn’t work, restart Unity App and press the 'F5' key again. Visit 'VR Viewing Won't Launch' for more information. 

 

Q: How do I view my scan on the Teleport Desktop Application?
A: Download the Teleport Desktop App from the Teleport Downloads Page. Once installed, log in to teleport.varjo.com with your Varjo credentials, navigate to a scan, and click 'Launch Ultra HD & VR'. At this point, the scan will automatically open up.
